Mark Jones, MChiro
I first became interested in Chiropractic having suffered with neck and shoulder pain. I used to wake up with a stiff neck not being able to turn and look over my shoulder.
The treatment that I received from a Chiropractor and the relief that I experienced was the start of a fascination with the profession. I was amazed at the benefit I found from regular visits and the effect it had on my overall health and wellbeing as well as increased energy levels.
This inspiration led me to think about the choices I made in life and it slowly took hold that I really wanted to be in a profession where I could have that sort of influence on peoples lives and help them benefit in the same way I had.
I soon started a five-year masters degree in Chiropractic at the Anglo European Chiropractic College (AECC) in Bournemouth.
Throughout my five years at college I personally attended over 250 extra hours learning at seminars and events in many different Chiropractic and Holistic disciplines.
During my training my wife Jane became pregnant and we had our daughter Jessica who is the ultimate ‘chiropractic kid’! The treatment that Jane had when she was pregnant and the benefits to Jessica when she was born and later suffered from colic fired my enthusiasm for chiropractic and how it can help babies and children. So much so that I went on to write my Thesis on treatment for Colic and Uncontrolled Crying in Babies. Part of this study was later published.
Outside of regular clinical practice, I have a special interest in paediatric, geriatric and cranial chiropractic care. I am also interested in nutrition and stress and their role in health and disease.
Jane and I moved to West Sussex to take over this practice in 2011 from an existing Chiropractor, Jon Mason, who had been in the area for over 20 years. Opening our own practice had been a dream of ours for many years.
I strive to be a passionate dedicated chiropractor who offers the finest chiropractic health care service with professionalism, clinical expertise and compassion. I continue to regularly attend training, seminars and events and take a very keen interest in health and wellness.
Our patients often comment on how friendly our clinic is and this is testament to the hard work and enthusiasm of our fantastic reception team.
Thank you for taking time to view our site. You are assured of a warm welcome when you visit us and we look forward to meeting you.

I became a permanent member of the reception team in June 2017, having provided ad hoc holiday & sickness cover for the last 5 years.
I love being a part of such a friendly team & enjoy meeting our patients & hearing stories about their lives.
I have experienced the benefits both physical & emotional, of chiropractic treatment for several years, and have also seen the positive effects on family & friends. I find regular treatments with Mark improve my overall health & wellbeing.
I grew up in Steyning & Ashington, and have lived back in the village with my own family since 1994. I have a background in customer service & office administration in the financial services industry. When at home I like to spend time working with textiles, including embroidery, dress making & upholstery.
I’m married with two young adult offspring, two cats and a rabbit.
Jane Jones
Mark’s wife Jane has her own interesting story about Chiropractic! When Mark decided to study to become a Chiropractor it meant leaving our hometown of Windsor and moving to Bournemouth.
Whilst I had experienced many holistic treatments I had never seen a Chiropractor. I therefore went to see a practitioner so that I could have first hand experience myself.
During the initial consultation it was suggested that I return to my doctor to be gynaecologically checked. On the Chiropractors advice I then went for a scan and discovered that I had a massive cyst on my ovary. Mark and I had been trying for a family for nearly two years. Following the discovery of the cyst I had surgery and fell pregnant 5 weeks later. This was the start of my real passion for Chiropractic!
I was treated during the later stages of pregnancy by one of Mark’s lecturers who specialised in pregnancy. The relief from these sessions was incredible.
Our little girl Jessica had her first treatment when she was less than 24 hours old. Unfortunately I had a long and difficult labour that resulted in a C-section. We watched as our very tired, very angry baby, who had been really agitated since birth totally relaxed after a very gentle treatment. The look on her face and the sigh of satisfaction Jessica gave was enough to convince me that the treatment had helped her. I had been a little nervous at how small she was.
My daughter and I have regular treatment. In fact it is so much part of our family life that Jessica even plays giving her toys adjustments!
I believe that Chiropractic has been really auspicious for our family and the changes it has made in our lives. I hope it helps you as much too.
